Golf + Yoga

Golf is a game rich in details, where the small things matter.

We are all competitive at heart, but on the course, having distinct advantages can take your game to the next level.

That’s where yoga comes in.

As a golfer, you want to eliminate strokes.

You want to be pain free through your years so you can enjoy your passion.

You want to increase your flexibility and range of motion so you can drive the ball further.

You want to control your breath so you can focus on shot placement.

These are all areas were yoga can benefit golfers of all levels.

What are the benefits of yoga for golfers?

Low back pain from spinal rotation is a common complaint from golfers.

By strengthening your core, you can reduce stress on your lower back and support your spine for the swing rotation.

At Yoga for Golfers workshops, we will flow through key postures to help you start the process and leave you with additional exercises you can do at home to keep mastering your golf game.

Developing the perfect swing is an art, but one side of your body becomes more developed than the other and muscles become uneven.

We will create a counter balance as well as strengthen the hips and thoracic spine.

Focus is key and for many the hardest part of their golf game. Yoga connects breath to movement.

We will develop your breath to movement in your game so you can increase your patience level and concentration, learn to be present and enjoy the game.
