Breaking up with Stress and Anxiety

Hi there, it’s the Titanium Yoga newbie again! In this blog post, I’ll be talking about how taking classes at Titanium Yoga have helped my mental health!


I think we can all agree that everyday life stressors can take a toll on you mentally and physically if you’re not equipped with the right tools. Since starting to practice yoga and meditation I have noticed that it is one of the best ways for me to combat daily stress and anxiety.

As a person who has suffered from an anxiety disorder all my life,  using yoga has become one of the tools to help me manage the anxiety and panic attacks. The way yoga and meditation help me to focus on my breath and relax into poses, when I’m on my mat I forget about my worries.


Focusing on the stretching and breathing helps me melt away any stress and anxiety that I might have. One of the most impactful parts for me is at the end when we all do savasana (final rest). Savasana is relaxing in a comfortable position and just focusing on your breath and your body’s needs.
